Reiki Level 2 course pre-requisites

In order to progress to the Reiki Level 2 course you must have completed a Reiki Level 1 course with an in-person Reiki Level 1 attunement.

The minimum time between a Reiki Level 1 and Level 2 course is 21 days to ensure the Level 1 attunement has had time to settle and integrate. That said, the suggestion would be allow 1 to 2 months between Reiki Level 1 and 2 courses to give you time to practice what you have learnt at Level 1, and to develop your connection with Reiki.

If you have completed your Reiki Level 1 course elsewhere you are still welcome to join this Reiki Level 2 course to continue your journey in Reiki.

What’s special about Reiki Level 2 courses run by Reiki Mindfulness

Every course delivered by Reiki Mindfulness is created to provided the best possible training by ensuring the follows:

• One to one Courses: Unlike other course providers that provide large group Reiki Courses we provide courses for 1 or 2 people only. This allows our course participants to have a personlised experience, ask any questions throughout the course and have one to one guidance throughout the teaching and practice. This is particularly important during practice as feedback can be provided on the flow of reiki and any hand position adjustments there and then.
• Treatment Couches available to practice: Our courses are run in clinics in Warren Street and Marylebone (Central London) and Harrow (North West London) in rooms that have treatment couches available for practice. A number of group courses cannot provide treatment couches for practice due to the number of people attending each course. We feel that learning to provide Reiki in a laying down position is vital as 99% of times this will be the case.
• Always in-person: This is the best way of teaching Reiki, as Reiki is largely a hand-on practice. It is also the most effective way of attuning students to Reiki (more about this below).
• Focus on practice and imparting experience: The course is packed full of practical guidance, practice and experience from Ameet (Reiki Master Teacher) who provides Reiki to over 1000 Reiki healing sessions each year. During 2025 Reiki Mindfulness delivered 28 Reiki courses.

What you will learn on the day of the Reiki Level 2 Course

The course will cover teaching, attunement to 3 key Reiki symbols by Ameet (Reiki Master Teacher) and hands-on practice including:

• A recap of Aura Cleansing and Grounding to prepare for the day ahead
• An introduction to the Reiki Symbols, their purpose and use
• The Power Symbol, how and when to use it during self-healing and when treating others
• How and when to use the Emotional and Mental Healing Symbol
• How to use the Distance Reiki Healing Symbol during Distance Healing sessions
• Healing at the level of the Root Cause using the Distance Healing Symbol when giving Reiki to yourself or others
• An individual Reiki Level 2 attunement given to you by Ameet (Reiki Master Teacher)
• How to prepare yourself and carry out Distance Reiki Healing to help others in the past, present and future by transmitting Reiki to them wherever they are. The course includes a guided practice.
• How to send Multiple Healing to a group of people, a region of the world, a habitat, or an ecosystem. The course includes a guided practice.
• How to activate Automatic Reiki healing based on an action undertaken by you
• Using the 3 Reiki Symbols in a hands-on practice on a treatment couch. You would be guided by Ameet as you practice.

Your Individual In-person Reiki Level 2 Attunement

Ameet will provide you with an individual in-person Reiki Level 2 Attunement, during any Reiki course the attunement is the most important part.  The Reiki Level 2 attunement is an energy transmission from teacher to student that activates the ability to use the Reiki Level 2 Symbols as taught on the day further enhancing your Reiki ability for the rest of your life.

Your own Personalised, Printed Reiki Level 2 Course Certificate

At the end of the course you will receive a personalised printed certificate, signed by Ameet, your Reiki Master Teacher with details of your Reiki lineage going back to Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki.

Our Reiki Level 1 courses are available as special one-to-one and “you and a friend” (2 person) courses on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundaays. These are available in 3 locations:

• The Helix Clinic 32 Warren Street, London W1T 5PG. Only 3 minutes walk from Warren Street and Great Portland Street Tube Stations and 5 minutes from Regents Park Tube Station.
• Light Centre Marylebone on Portman Square, London W1H. Only 7 minutes walk from Marble Arch, Bond Street Tube Stations and 10 minutes walk from Baker Street Tube Station.
• The Body Factory on Nibthwaite Road, Harrow HA1. Only 10 minutes walk from Harrow-on-the-Hill Station and 15 minutes walk from Harrow and Wealdstone Station.
